Tue. 9/2 - update

Caed lost 1/2 lb. this week! (he's @ 33.5 lbs.) However, because Nebraska is just around the corner our dr. did not want to start TPN, etc... He feels that is one thing they will want to do once we get there. I wasn't able to reach our nurse coordinator in NE today, but feel hopeful for tomorrow. Should know something as to when we will head up there in the next few days. In one sense, we are very ready to go and get this underway. However, in another, I personally am dreading it. Going to NE means leaving my two other children and husband, and temporarily moving to a "foreign land" (alone). That aspect of the trip is very burdening. We are confident this is the road the Lord is leading us down right now, and are thankful He has provided it for us. But, it still makes it hard knowing our family will be even further separated. We would please ask for prayer specifically in this area. The Lord is faithful!!!!!! We know He will bring us through yet another hurdle.

We want to say thank you again for all your sweet letters/cards. We received two today from people we do not even know! (one from Wisconsin) Another was 3 cute little prayer cloth teddy bears. We cannot begin to say thank you enough for caring for this little boy you do not even know. May the Lord bless you! You all have certainly blessed us!!!

continuing to pray for you and anticipating God's awesome provision for you and Caed in Nebraska.

Cannot even begin to imagine how hard this is for you, but I do know that our God is able to meet every need and fear.

Thank you again and again for your faithfulness in this journey and for allowing us to be a part of it.

I know this will be scarey for you, especially, because you feel so responsible, but I know that God will be in Nebraska for you, he will be at Idalou with your children, & in Celina with your husband. Nothing is to great for our wonderful God.

I can't wait to see what the future holds for Caed & your family. I know God gives us hurdles & valleys, so down the road we can be there for His purpose.

Love you so much

Lori,
We have been away from the blog during a recent move and no computer for a while... We are still praying for Caed daily and know that great things are in store for you in NE! Our God is the creator and sustainer and will go before you to prepare the place for you.
