The woman I had talked to on the phone yesterday met us at the airport here in Omaha. She is such a sweet lady! Brought us a bag with goodies. She and her husband came to the hotel and we visited for awhile. It is so nice to know there is someone here we can call on if we need anything!
We have found our way around relatively easy. Went by the hospital before dinner. It is not far from our hotel. Caed has 2 appointments tomorrow. The one at 10:30 will be drawing "lots of blood." And then the 11:30 appt. I am assuming is meeting with our nurse coordinator and the team of drs.
We had difficulty waking Caed up again this morning, (a little nervous we weren't going to make it to the airport), and then again around dinner time. He literally slept the whole time we were eating. Please continue to pray for his drs. Pray the Lord would give them clarity and wisdom!!
Not sure what our plans will be tomorrow after our time at the hospital. Thank you again for your prayers for us today. Everything went great without any problems!!!

So glad you are there and that you had no delays or problems. It rained most of the day here; nice and cool. Suppose to be 56 in the morning. Ann will bring Caleb in the morning. We will have a fun day. I miss all of you already. I prayed that the lady who met you at the airport, would be a "second mom" to you Lori, while you are there. I will be praying for Caed to have a calm spirit tomorrow as he meets with the new doctors and that they will be compassionate and loving toward him. I know God is with you all and will guide the doctors with wisdom to come up with the best healing treatment for Caed. So glad everything went smoothly today. Know y'all are looking forward to seeing Kensley and Tana tomorrow if the times work out. Hope Caed wakes easily tomorrow and you all get a much needed good nights sleep. Keep the updates coming. I lift Caed and Lori up to you right now. Thank you that they arrived safely and that the woman who met them is sweet. I know you sent her there to be with Lori. I pray that you will be with Caed tomorrow as he goes thru these appointments. Keep him calm and safe. Thank you for Lori's courage. You give her the strength to carry on and that is a blessing to many. You say all things are possible through YOU and I know you will send that right doctor at the right time with answers. So glad to hear everything went good yesterday. I pray that you guys have peace about tomorrow and pray for Caed to have a calm spirit tomorrow. I'm sure it's overwhelming to a 5 year old to meet so many different people. I lift up all the doctors, nurses, technicians and everyone else that comes in contact with you over the next few weeks. I pray that you get the answers to Caed's waking up and for his treatment.
