Thur. 6/12 - update

We had another good day today! This was the 2nd day Caed was fever-free, and also only threw up once. THANK YOU GOD FOR ANSWERED PRAYER! He ate a few small bites of yogurt, applesauce, pears, and turkey. The one time he did get sick, I think it was because he was drinking too fast. I kept telling him to slow down and just do sips, but he had 2 girls laughing at him acting silly (which only made it worse). I think he understood after that! It just might take things like this for Caed to learn himself what he can and cannot do. That way it won't just be "mean Mommy and Daddy" not letting him eat or drink certain things. I am already beginning to see this in him. He understands more and more when we say, "no, that might make you throw up." However, WE'RE still learning ourselves what those things are. We still have not heard yet about the blood cultures. Takes 24-48 hrs. to grow, so maybe we'll know something soon. I'm so thankful though the fevers have stopped (for now).

This evening we went out to Sandy and Lee J's pool. He felt great and played the whole time. It's amazing how he can keep himself entertained without actually getting in the water.

Caleb is also doing better. He has a dr. appt. tomorrow. Supposed to get his 4 mo. shots, but may not since he's sick. His dr. is at Covenant, so I'm sure Caed will want to go visit his nurses again while we're there. This will be the first dr. Caed sees tomorrow that ISN'T FOR HIM!! Hallelujah!

Reagan has had a fun week going to VBS. Haylee (cousin) has also been here all week, so they have enjoyed their time together. Last night we had a sleep over...Reagan, Haylee, Bergan, and Megan. They camped out in the basement and finally got to sleep around midnight. Too bad they all had to get up early for VBS.

Oh, by the way............we found out today Timmy the turtle is a GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
