Fri. 6/27 - update

Caed has had a very busy day. Hopefully that means an early bedtime! His night (11 cc.) was eventful to say the least. He was up at 1:30, 3:30, 4:30, 5:30, 6:30, and 8:00! The good part of it was that he only got up to go to the bathroom, then was back to sleep very easily. Our dr. gave us some med for the diarrhea (which we finally got filled and will start tonight), so hopefully that can begin helping some. Caed ate a lot (for him) today. For breakfast he wanted a pop-tart and banana. Normally I would have said no to the pop-tart, but decided to see if he could tolerate it. (it was plain....no icing) He did great with both! Ate maybe 1/2 of pop-tart, and 1/4 of banana. Then, at lunch we went to Souper Salad, and he ate some ham, grapes, goldfish, club crackers, and a vanilla wafer. Again, did great! We had to find lots of bathrooms while we were out running errands...he still had quite a bit of diarrhea. Finally, around 5:00....he did throw up, but it wasn't a lot. (maybe 100 cc) Kinda sad that we have learned to eyeball things like that and can measure it in cc's. Before this, I probably didn't even know what a cc was! Anyway, after we got home, I was popping some popcorn , and he came in the kitchen wanting some. I gave him a very small bowl, and he ended up eating 2 of them! So.....we shall see! Again though, several weeks ago, he would have never asked for that much food to begin with....so progress there! And secondly, we would have already seen most of it come back up by now. We will have to consider today another GOOD DAY!!!! Thank you Lord!
