Exercise

We've had a great last couple of days just enjoying Daddy being here. Caed and Todd have played lots of football, baseball, and also have enjoyed "working out" together. They found the exercise room. We went back out to LifeSpring Church in Bellevue on Sunday and it was so good once again.....had lunch with Carol and Cordell. We have sure enjoyed our time with the two of them. They are such sweet people, and we feel very blessed to have met them!

This morning we have Caed's weekly clinic appointment. Pray for more weight gain, for his body to adapt to the weaning of the hydration therapy and also the increase in G-feedings.

Also please remember sweet Kensley and her parents (J. and Tana). After today's clinic appt, they will head out sometime for the long road trip back to Texas. The drs. want to see Kensley every 6 weeks, so they will have to come back up here quite frequently (as will we probably). She is doing SO good! She has gained (I believe) almost 4 lbs in just a month! She looks wonderful!! As any SBS child, she will have many more years of therapy, etc.... BUT, as we talked with J. and Tana yesterday at lunch.....there has been such a difference this past month. For once, we all truly have HOPE that 'things are going to be ok.' Kensley's blog is: (www.faithfulandfree.blogspot.com) so you can watch her progress back in Lubbock.

Not sure what all we have planned for our 'last day' with Daddy. Caed reminded me last night that again it will be "Daddy's choice." ha! Todd doesn't fly out until this evening, so we shouldn't be in such a huge hurry today.

Thank God for this time of refreshment and fun for you and Caed with Todd's visit. I know it will be hard for all of you for Todd to leave, but he will know that Caed is doing well and progress has been made.

Enjoy your day together.

Love that muscle man! Glad things are still going well. I know it must be hard on EVERYONE being split up. I'm sure you get SO MANY "everything happens for a reason" comments, but it's true. One day it will all be displayed with suc beauty and creativity that we will all be in awe of Gods sovereign plan!
