Mon. 3/24 - update
We had a really good day today! He was in much better spirits. This morning when the drs. came in, they said "waiting" is the plan for now. They also agreed that this little boy needs a break from the hospital. They are giving him a 2 hr. pass tomorrow to leave!! There is a park nearby with a playground, lake, and ducks. It's supposed to be a beautiful day. Reagan is also getting to come. When we told him about it, he said, "No...I don't want to go!" As much as he hates being in the hospital, that bed has also become great security for him. Any new thing we try he totally opposes. Then he sees it's ok, and all is well. Hopefully the park will have the same results. He did GREAT with his walking today (or should I say running). He wanted to be outside a lot and walked all over the place. While inside, there were moments he was "running" through the halls. Reagan came up and stayed most of the afternoon/evening with him. They had a good time together just the 2 of them. Caed also ate today!! (sm. amount of apple sauce, milkshake and goldfish!!!) His GI dr. has given him the ok for any foods other than fried or fatty. He did have some pain spasms tonight; those bowels are hopefully trying to move things through. Please pray that our "park adventure" tomorrow is a good, positive, helpful time. I know God can use his creation as the BEST therapy!!

Praying for a wonderful day at the park for Caed and Reagan! You all continue to be in our thoughts and prayers! Thanks for the updates--you just don't know how much they mean to your far away friends! Hope you've gotten the box that we sent by now--if not, it should be soon--lots of goodies in that box!

Praying for a great day at the park. I am sure that God has made your weather perfect for your day. Eat a lot more jello and icecream for us in Celina.
I am so glad to hear Caed and Reagan will get to spend some time in the park. I am sure that will raise his spirits some. I am just so thankful for the daily updates. It means so much to be able to keep up with what is going on with him, knowing what exactly what his prayer needs are. Can't wait to hear about the outing so will be checking again later. Hey Todd, i really aprreciate (i hope that's how you spell it) you and Lori's updates. Im glad that Caed is doing better we are all PRAYING for yall hera in Celina. I really hope that Caed has fun at the park and make sure you toss around a football a little. Yall just keep doin what your doin.

Many years ago we found ourselves, as a young family, in similar circumstances. I can look back now and say that during that time, we have never been closer to God, nor more totally dependent on Him. He is such a merciful and loving God.
