Roll Call of Encouragement

Hello to all you faithful readers and prayer warriors. My name is Megan, (Aunt Megan to Reagan, Caed and Caleb) and they have no idea that I have snuck into their blog to get this message out there. Shhhhhh- let's surprise them! :)

Stan, Lori's brother & my husband, had an idea last night that he thought would encourage this sweet family. Everyone who reads the blog please post a brief comment to this entry with your city and state and let's show them how far reaching God has taken their story. Even if your location has already been mentioned......comment it again.....the number of comments will bless their socks off.

Thanks for your help in lifting them up this weekend!

I got the link from a friend on another list (Bethany). She said y'all are coming to Nebraska. I live in Nebraska. I'm just south of Omaha. Please feel free to contact me if y'all need anything. I understand that might be strange coming from a stranger, but when I went into labor 12 days after moving here and DH had to sit in the waiting room because we didn't know anybody to watch our kids...well, I know what that was like and hope I can share whatever. Even if you just want to know where to get a good cup of coffee, feel free to ask (MrsnMom23@cox.net).

Hi there, I'm Wanda from Greensboro, NC. I am praying without ceasing for this little fellow. He's a doll! God says to "cry out to HIM and HE will deliver" - so I'm crying out for you friends and know HE WILL DELIVER!

Just remember when Peter started walking to Jesus on the water, and took his eyes off Jesus and looked at the storm, ragine waters, thunder, lightning, he started to sink. But GOD did not allow him to sink, he pulled him out of those drowning waters. And, HE is going to do this for each of you. Hang on and watch for his deliverance.

God is using this one little boy to touch so many. he is so young and loves God so much. He has been through so much and God is holding his hand through it all. Your family is one of great faith and God richly blesses his children. My prayers and those of my children have gone up to heaven for your family. We are all a part of the family of God and as a family we care for one another, helping to share the burdens of life.

Out of curiosity, I read Caed's blog today...the WHOLE thing. I can't figure out how to post since I don't have a blog myself, but he definitely has prayers flying in southern Indiana. I am a mom of 4. Erik is a jr. in college, Sabra will be a freshman in college, Phillip is 11 and Simon is 10. Tonight I hugged my little guys and told them how happy I was that they were healthy, happy Christian Soldiers, then I shared Caed's story. Simon tried not to cry and asked to see his picture. He wants to play with Caed and said ( 4 times), " I'd do anything to make him healthy." We looked at a few pictures and all agreed that we will pray for Caed each and every night at tuck-in. Now my boys tend to get stuck in a rut with prayers, so they won't forget him at bedtime and meal time, and will do so until I tell them they can stop. They prayed for our church builders to be safe for 2 years! I finally had to tell them, that they were all done and nobody got hurt. The next night, they prayed for them to be safe where ever they went to build somebody's else's church. LOL So...you get my drift. Their little hearts have a HUGE trust in God answering their prayers.Caed has touched our hearts and Simon is now planning to meet him. He wants to know how far of a drive it is to Nebraska. ( um...FAR!) So, if you can, send Lori and Caed our love and prayers. We are sure to keep up on the blog. God bless!

Human words of encouragement seem useless in light of everything that you are experiencing. However, we know God's Word never fails. Today's verse of the day is: “When I said, "My foot is slipping," your love, O LORD, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.”- Psalm 94:18-19. I have been sitting here for an hour, reading all of these uplifting messages, with tears going down my face. Is'nt God so good. You are so very blessed to have so many people across this world that love & care for you, & are praying for you. You are continually in our prayers daily. You will never know how much we love you all.

This is Tammy, David Owen's sister, from Dallas. I am in San Antonio to hear Beth Moore. Earlier today we sang "Mighty to Save" and I thought of you, Lori. "Savior, He can move the mountains, my God is might to save, He is mighty to Save."
I pray for you and your family everyday and know that God is mighty and He WILL move this mountain. Thank you for sharing this journey with each of us and letting your light shine.

Oh Lori It's Keri. Oh how i look forward to every morning to get update on the family. We are always here and thinking about you guys. Always in our prayers. Oh how I missed you this weekend at Beth Moore and thought of you every word she spoke. The songs we sang too. We love you and your family miss you terribly. But we know you are in the palm of his hand. Know we are here for anything you need. Keri

You and your family CONTINUE to be in our thoughts and prayers and I have shared your story with several and actually read your first and last blog aloud to a room full of friends in Waco today which added a whole new group of strangers (to you but not to Him) who will be lifting you up in prayer!

May your family be uplifted by the knowledge that all of those who know you (and countless others who do not!) are thinking of you constantly and lifting you up to Our Lord in prayer. We cry out for mercy and healing from the Heavenly Father who loves Caed so. Your family's ordeal has reminded all of us what is truly important in this short time we spend here on earth. At the same time, we see the many blessings he provides each day even in the midst of difficulty. "The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you; The Lord lift up his countenance toward you and give you peace." Num 6:24-26

We love you guys so much and are praying continually for you. You are such an encouragement to us all Lori. I stand in awe when I read your blogs and I know you are leaning on Him and He is guiding you and Todd through all these tough decisions and He will sustain you in the days ahead. Your blogs remind me of the verse in Isaiah 40:31 - but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.....We can truly see the hand of God working in and through you guys each time we read your blog. Stay strong in the Lord and He will see you all through this and bring you all out so much stronger. We will now add your time in Nebraska to our prayer list. GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU PRECIOUS FIVE!!!

We stand in agreement & are honored to be praying in Celina...

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Philipians 4:6-7

Lori, they say "Home is where the heart is" for a reason. I have prayed for Caed's health from the beginning, but I have also prayed for your peace to feel at home wherever you need to be. Home doesn't have to be just the place you pay the mortgage. I don't know all the pressures that are coming at you to go back to Celina, but rest assured I am praying that God will show you what He wants you to do, and that you will feel the warmth of His peace about the decision.
Sending you hugs and blessings,
