no doubt God has huge plans instore for caed but also for you! I believe God has already used you tremedously and will continue to Lori, to reach families going through similiar circumstances! I've never heard a song that has fit anyone as good as that fits your guys! Not once did you ever stop praising the name of Christ! Everytime we sing that song at church I immediately pray for you guys! Not that you don't know but want to again tell you guys how much I look up to ya'll and love you guys so much! I can't wait to get back to celina in a few weeks and hang with todd!

Thank you,our Heavenly Father, for the miraculous, healing journey for our precious Caed. I am also so grateful for the growing experience I have come to know through this most difficult trial. You have shown us all how truly faithful and loving You are during our deepest struggles. I pray this new year will be a healthier one and a continous time of our testimony and praise, honor and glory to You---Caed's Grammy

Lori and Caed,
Please excuse the lenghty note, but I have been wanting to write for a long time...

I have continued to follow Caed's progress since the end of the summer. After seeing your 2008 Review, I wanted you to know that I am so happy for your family to be together once again. I will continue to pray for Caed as I know that you will have "ups and downs" along the way, but I feel that you have many angels watching over you.

My grandson, Connor Maruska, was born with a midgut volvus malrotation. He will turn 2 years old this weekend, and he is doing so much better. Our family has been through a lot in two years, but we feel blessed that Connor is progressing. We don't know what the future will bring, but I feel that we have witnessed many answered prayers, too. Our daughter had a baby girl in May. It has been busy around their home, but I can only imagine what you went through with a newborn during the time that Caed was seriously ill in the hospital.
Bless all of you. I can see what a wonderful family you have, and how they were so supportive. It took a lot for you to go to Nebraska, but you made the right decision for Caed. My daughter and son-in-law took Connor to Boston for Omegaven because of his high bilirubin levels. These decisions were answered prayers even though they were difficult ones.

May 2009 bring many happy days to you, and a LOT of healing. You will continue to be in my prayers, and I will continue to watch Caed's progress.

PS...The five of you are such a good looking family!

Oscar Nominee. Seriously, I am always taken back by the greatness of our King. It's utterly amazing that our God shines through the brightest when things seem so dim. What a Mighty God we serve!

Lori and family...after spending a month in Scottsdale for Jerry's cancer surgery, I can only imagine what it has been like for all of you for all these months.Your journey has been since March and mine started in June.We all want to, in a way, know the big picture, but only God knows that...so as we seek to start a new year, we must also thank Him for this trial that has made us all stronger and preparing us for eternal life. Jerry is 72 and Caed is five, but someday he will know how God has used him to bring so much joy to those who have prayed for him for so long.Blesed be the name of the Lord...Love you...Sharon Wylie..Lubbock

After seeing this for at least a dozen times, I'm still in awe of how the Lord has pulled your whole family through this ordeal, and He has received the honor and glory through your blog! I have sent this particular link to quite a few people that I know the Lord will use to touch their lives. What a living testimony! Our God Reigns!!!! May 2009 be a year that you will be able to rest and serve the Lord at HOME!!!! We love all of you! Ike and Ann Peterson
